I'm not Basic, Just Pressed for Time: "An Ode To" 2017

May 19th 2017, Solange turned the Guggenheim Museum into her canvas. The singer unveiled  "An Ode To", an interdisciplinary performance inspired by her 2016 album, A Seat At The Table. The performance consisted of art installations, dance choreography, a live set featuring a horn ensemble, and the ultimate crowd participation.

Between Tea & Incense, my birthday, my site redesign / restructure,  and my fender-bender situation, I haven't had the right energy to speak on this masterpiece. But tonight, settled in the current phase of the moon, I find myself in awe of such creativity.

Solange continues to cross boundaries with her music, and I love it! Creativity knows no limits, and Solange explores this idea with each and every project. View the images below to witness fashion, art, architecture, and music, at it's finest.
